Project Strategy

Teva Pharmaceutical's Parsippany New Jersey office location requested us to help to update and renovate the main corridors and open office area corridors on all 4 floors, and main entrance lobby area. The team worked directly with the Teva facilities team to understand facility needs and design criteria, and then helped with product offerings, sampling and review, project budgeting and scheduling requirements of all 4 floors of occupied office space. Main concerns were to provide a better, durable and performing carpet tile for all high traffic areas to help with future maintenance, and then a new vibrant style and color to match Teva's rebranded color scheme of green and blue for all main office walkways that weaved through the open office areas. Milliken products were selected due the range of styles matching Teva's desired color scheme, as well as the standard cushion backing for added comfort and noise absorption under foot. Final selections included Milliken's Obex walk off carpet tile to address the high traffic areas, and style Major Frequency One for main office area, and a very fun pattern and color in main lobby with style Journal - Inscription. Total project was over 3,700sy. Our INSTALL certified crews made quick work of the facility renovation including demo of existing carpet tile, offsite disposal, minor prep, and furnishing and installation of the new Milliken carpet tile. Project was completed with a small 3-4 man crew to keep office disruptions to a minimum, and to coordinating with onsite facilities including priority zones like executive areas. The project was complete success from early design and speculations, through budgeting, award, and the occupied installation.
