Project Strategy

For the Pittsburgh International Airport Terminal Modernization project, our scope of work was to supply and install carpet tile, vinyl composite tile, luxury vinyl tile, resilient tile, and rubber wall base. We worked on the project from mid-2024 until the end of 2025, covering over 181,000 square feet of flooring space between the new airport terminal and its airline tenant fit-outs.

We were able to be one of the quickest subcontractors of all to complete their work and with 100% customer satisfaction.

Unique Installation Challenge Strategy

Midway through the project, our team began to face major installation setbacks due to the way the original concrete slab was set by another contractor. As a result, in the form of a six-figure change order, we shifted gears and partnered with Ardex Americas to fix what is now where the airport’s TSA operation is today. In doing so, our team of union installers masterfully executed self-leveling, major substrate repair and screeding to give the existing substate a facelift to give most of the final floorcoverings the shine and beauty that it has today. Namely, the very hub that sends people to their destinations, globally.
