The project involved a comprehensive floor remodel of the pool deck and surrounding areas for Marriott, a global leader in hospitality. As a high-traffic amenity within a premier hotel, the pool deck serves as a focal point for guest experience, requiring a finish that balances sophisticated design with rigorous safety and durability standards.

Our team navigated several critical site requirements to ensure a seamless transition between new and existing finishes. We executed the precise removal of the existing tile and mortar bed without compromising the underlying structural integrity of the pool surround. A key requirement was re-engineering the floor’s pitch. We poured and sloped the substrate to ensure perfect drainage, eliminating standing water risks while maintaining ADA compliance. We focused heavily on the "transition zones," expertly feathering the new installation into existing conditions to create a unified, flush surface across the entire facility. By prioritizing efficiency and technical precision, we delivered a high-performance, aesthetically elevated pool deck that met Marriott’s exacting brand standards. The project was completed on an accelerated schedule, allowing the hotel to return the amenity to guests as quickly as possible.
