Project Strategy
EngineWorks in Bozeman is an 87,000-square-foot, modern office building at the Montana State University Innovation Campus. Designed to foster creativity and collaboration, the multi-tenant space offers 61,000 square feet of customizable offices alongside 26,000 square feet of shared amenities, including conference rooms, huddle areas, kitchens, and event space.
What truly sets EngineWorks apart is its thoughtful approach to design and functionality. Warm wood accents, polished concrete, contemporary flooring finishes are thoughtfully integrated throughout the building, creating an environment that feels both elevated and welcoming—ideal for innovative, growing companies.
Mohawk carpet tile was selected to complement the building’s industrial heritage while supporting a modern, flexible workplace. The texture and tonal variation of the carpet echo the site’s historic mechanical roots—aged steel, concrete, and timber—while adding warmth and acoustic comfort to the open interiors. Modular by design, the carpet tile allows for durability in high-traffic areas and easy replacement over time, aligning with the building’s adaptive reuse and sustainability goals. The result is a balanced environment where rugged history meets contemporary performance, grounding the space in Bozeman’s past while supporting the creative, forward-looking energy of its occupants.
