Project Strategy

We were brought into the pricing phase late in the process by a local GC client who identified our capacity to respond and execute a complex project on a short timeline.
Since much of the work needed to be completed while the school was on Winter and late Spring breaks, phasing and coordination were paramount concerns. The first phase was to be complete during the Winter break, and, during our installation work, the building HVAC system failed. The resultant schedule compression was significant, but Lippert managed to coordinate and staff the project adequately to achieve the completion date. Numerous products and large areas required careful, but quick and efficient, installation and project management. Furniture and reopening for classes were not delayed.
The second and third phases required multiple mobilizations after classes ended, with the whole project having a June 1st completion date. Lippert was able to maintain continuous coordination with the GC and material suppliers in this very tight timeline, ensuring that the project was ready for our installation teams and completed without overrunning the completion date.
Added work scope made this a challenge for all. Without the coordination and support of our Starnet vendors, this project would have been much more difficult to deliver on time. Considerable effort went into communicating and coordinating many details on numerous products on very short notice.
As a result of this choreography, the end user placed a high value on our craftsmanship, installation capabilities, and vendor relationships and management. Due to our great performance and that of our Starnet vendor partners, the school asked us to quote additional phases of the building remodeling directly. The upcoming phase uses the same Starnet products specified on the original project, and we will be completing this additional work in February 2026.
