Project Strategy

This project consisted of a comprehensive interior remodel, with the flooring scope focused on durability, wayfinding, and visual renewal within an active educational environment.

Creative Terrain by Mohawk was selected for primary public spaces, functioning as both a high-performance surface and a defining design element. The terrazzo-inspired look and custom geometric layouts modernize the space while using color and pattern to support intuitive wayfinding. Seamless installations reduce transitions, improve cleanability, and support long-term maintenance goals.

Wet and food service areas utilize Daltile quarry tile, selected for its slip resistance, moisture tolerance, and ability to meet sanitation requirements. Detailing at drains, coves, and transitions was carefully coordinated to support daily operations.

The dance studio features Gerflor Recreation 60 in Canadian Maple, providing a resilient, wood-grain aesthetic that balances comfort, durability, and performance for athletic movement.

Overall, the flooring scope was instrumental in transforming the existing facility, delivering a cohesive, durable solution that aligns performance with design intent.
