Project Strategy

The Brownsburg High School Fieldhouse project was a two-year expansion and renovation of the school’s athletic facilities, including a new indoor track, multiple courts, a golf training center, and updated interior spaces. We served as the single-source flooring contractor, leveraging our specialized divisions to staff each scope with skilled experts while maintaining tight schedule control.

Our team executed a wide range of finishes—rubber track surfacing, wood sports floors, terrazzo, polished concrete, tile, turf, epoxy, carpet, and resilient flooring—coordinating them seamlessly under one contract to ensure consistent quality and efficient project flow.

Despite a tight timeline, the project was delivered with minimal punch items and high client satisfaction. The result is a durable, visually cohesive athletic facility demonstrating our ability to manage complex, multi-material installations with exceptional craftsmanship.

Unique Installation Challenge Strategy

Two major design challenges showcased our technical expertise. First, the south gym’s wood sports floor required a perfectly matched radius to align with the curved rubber track, an uncommon detail. We developed a precise layout, procured a custom metal radius plate, and executed the curved installation with specialty craftsmen. Second, the polished concrete areas utilized E5 hard concrete, requiring advanced tooling and experienced operators to achieve uniform clarity and sheen.
