Project Strategy
There are 13 appellate courts that sit below the U.S. Supreme Court, and they are called U.S. courts of appeals.
The United States Court of Appeals Library (Third Circuit) located in the MLK Federal Court House in Newark, is a 6,700sf library, packed full of book shelves, racks, and law clerks.
The Library was in need of a full update with outdated and worn broadloom. Re:Source New Jersey Commercial Flooring worked with US Courts of Appeals Philadelphia based team on specifications, sampling, installation mockups to show installation options for the chosen modern Mohawk plank carpet tile, through scheduling, and installation. Public spaces and libraries provide challenges to ensure clean and orderly demo, prep, and installation, added pressure of working for the US Courts and ensuring all parties are happy with the aesthetics, quality and timeliness of the renovation and installation. The "Verdict" is in, and the Project was a true turn key, and completed successfully bringing much needed style, modernization of this important Library, and its overall effect on its working environment for the courts.
