Flooring Solutions transformed Hickory Grove Elementary with a focus on functionality and design, even in the absence of an architect or general contractor. This unique challenge required the team to step into a leadership role, managing all aspects of the project from specification to execution.
The installation of 5,270 square yards of Milliken Carpet Tile was carefully planned to meet the school’s needs for durability, acoustic performance, and aesthetics in high-traffic areas. Without external design oversight, Flooring Solutions developed creative solutions to define key areas within the school. Strategic use of color and pattern enhanced navigation and created visually distinct zones for various activities, aligning with the school’s functional and organizational goals.
Throughout the project, the team maintained seamless communication with school staff, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Flooring Solutions delivered a modern, engaging learning environment that balances practicality and aesthetic appeal, tailored to the needs of students and staff alike.
