Project Strategy

The Tacoma Main Library project was a remodel of an historic downtown building. The work entailed removal of a significant amount of the substrate and self leveling preparation. The Milliken custom 1m x 1m tile was specified to create the repeating 2m x 2m accent design "bubbles", and highlight the children's, teen, and living room areas which are inset in the Milliken custom field carpet. All of the architect/design team, and general contractors were more than terrific.
