Project Strategy
Scope:
This project for the Placer County Office of Emergency Services incorporated 5,018 square yards of Mohawk carpet tile (17 colors) and 3,785 square feet of Mohawk LVT, designed to create a cohesive, fading blend that fosters a calm yet dynamic atmosphere suitable for an emergency services environment.
Challenges & Solutions:
The 17-color carpet tile design, intended to achieve a sophisticated blending and fading effect, required significant on-site adjustments to meet the client’s expectations. By collaborating closely with the client, we refined accent color placements to enhance the desired aesthetic while navigating a compressed timeline due to scheduled furniture delivery. The final result not only met functional and durability requirements but also exceeded design expectations, reinforcing the project’s role as a key component of this critical operational facility.
