Project Strategy
As part of a full-scale renovation to update and modernize the facility, the hospital underwent a comprehensive flooring upgrade. The new flooring was chosen to provide a durable and highly cleanable surface—an essential feature for maintaining hygiene in a hospital setting.
The project involved significant updates, with the building brought down to its core in a complete gut renovation. Unique aspects of the installation included coved sheet vinyl in all exam rooms, which enhances both durability and cleanability, and flash-coved finishes in every infusion room, ensuring seamless and hygienic transitions.
To achieve a flawless installation, all floors required grinding to ensure a flat surface, with one floor necessitating self-leveling to meet precise standards. Despite the complexity of the project being located six hours away and involving multiple phases, the team delivered exceptional results.
The finished product reflects the hospital’s commitment to creating a clean, modern, and functional environment for both patients and staff. The project progressed smoothly, and the final outcome showcases high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
