Project Strategy
Introducing Broad + Noble, a groundbreaking residential community in Philadelphia's Center City. Situated on a historic site once home to iron forging and locomotive assembly, this 231-foot-tall, 19-story L-shaped tower honors the city’s industrial roots while looking toward the future. With 344 meticulously designed residential units, Broad + Noble offers luxurious finishes and thoughtfully crafted layouts tailored to modern living.
The ground floor features a welcoming lobby lounge, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and vibrant spaces for independent retailers, enriching the streetscape. The 18th-floor amenity suite, complete with a refreshment bar, conference room, and billiards, offers panoramic city views that provide a high-end living experience. The rooftop sky deck strikes a perfect balance between community interaction and private retreats.
Over 166,000 square feet of premium flooring from Daltile, Shaw, and Spartan Surfaces were installed in this project, showcasing a diverse range of high-quality materials. The careful selection of these materials aligns with the project’s modern design ethos while honoring the site's history. To ensure a flawless finish, more than 800 bags of Uzin self-leveler and thinset were used to achieve a level and stable substrate for the final flooring layers. This meticulous process culminated in a stunning, durable, and functional flooring solution.
Broad + Noble stands as a prime example of architectural innovation, seamlessly integrating historical elements with modern design to redefine urban residential living. We are proud to have partnered with the Starnet vendors, whose expertise and commitment were instrumental in bringing this project to life on time and within budget. The success of this project highlights the power of collaboration and the evolution of urban residential design, with flooring playing a key role in its overall impact.
