Project Strategy
Scope:
This fast-paced summer remodel at Cal Middle School involved the installation of 6,300 square yards of Tarkett Powerbond RS carpet, 16,470 square feet of Tarkett Latitude and ID Latitude LVT, and 200 square yards of Tarkett IQ Granit sheet vinyl. The project also included 9,600 linear feet of Tarkett Duracove base, with custom school logos expertly hand-cut into the carpet and intricate patterns in the LVT to enhance the school's identity and aesthetic.
Challenges & Solutions:
With a hard deadline before the new school year, this project required significant floor preparation following abatement of the existing flooring. Our team worked efficiently amidst other trades, maintaining precise coordination to meet the tight schedule. Through meticulous craftsmanship and careful planning, we not only met the deadline but delivered the completed project a full day early, exceeding client expectations.
