Project Strategy

The Sparked brand concept asked us to explore how raw building materials are transformed with the touch of a spark! We focused on the different ways heat and fire could be applied to an array of materials across major design elements to immerse the customer in this idea, from charred wood to acid-dipped steel to lava-like wallcovering. In addition to aesthetics, we were tasked with specifying materials that could handle the high level of foot traffic that this dispensary would generate. Milliken’s ‘Quietlife Folkwood’ LVT provided the perfect balance of charred wood aesthetic and commercial durability. The flooring evoked a quiet warmth and depth throughout the space that was critical in tying all of the design elements together to guide the customer through the space.
