Project Strategy
After completing the renovation of their 2nd floor offices in the fall of 2022, Lehigh Valley Hyundai moved into their “phase 2” renovations which included a complete overhaul of the administrative offices on the ground level of their Emmaus dealership. Building upon the successful rapport established during the previous project, Lehigh Valley Hyundai and Valley Builders again entrusted us with the flooring specifications. Seeking consistency, LV Hyundai chose to retain Mohawk’s Adaptable carpet tile. However, they sought increased performance from the LVT. While initial concerns centered on underfoot warmth, further research and client discussions highlighted the many advantages of 5mm LVT including underfoot comfort and improved acoustics. Consequently, the client upgraded from the initially specified 2.5mm Living Local product to Mohawk's 5mm Secoya LVT. Mohawk's Step in Style II entrance carpet was incorporated in the vestibules, and Roppe's vinyl cove base was utilized for all trim.
