Project Strategy

When a nearby building was vacated, it faced the possibility of sitting empty. However, a neighboring company saw an opportunity to repurpose the space to meet its growing needs. The building was renovated into a versatile training and event center, now serving as a hub for employee development and company gatherings. Featuring a full catering kitchen, a pre-reception space, a pub area, and multiple meeting rooms, the facility provides a functional and welcoming environment for a variety of events and activities.

Flooring played a critical role in the project, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and comfort. The carpet tile was chosen for its custom color, reflecting the company’s brand identity, and its backing provided acoustic benefits to enhance the experience in meeting rooms and large gathering areas. In the kitchen, slip-resistant tile ensured safety for event caterers working in high-traffic conditions. The pub area stands out with its herringbone-patterned luxury vinyl tile (LVT), a unique design feature that adds character to the space while maintaining durability.

The materials were selected to make the facility cross-functional, supporting both small and large-scale events. Additional design details, like the tiled feature walls in the pre-reception area and hallway, as well as the fully tiled bathrooms, create a cohesive and polished look throughout the space.

The existing concrete subfloor presented challenges during installation, requiring significant preparation to ensure a smooth and level surface for the new materials. Despite these challenges, the project came together seamlessly, thanks to the expertise and precision of the installation team. The combination of varying material types, each thoughtfully selected for its specific benefits, resulted in a cohesive design that complements the building's functionality and versatility.

Through thoughtful material selection, expert installation, and attention to detail, the flooring and design elements provide the client with long-term value.
