Project Strategy
After all the existing flooring was removed, we came in and had to lay out all the flooring with a pattern and steps to tie into everything. Then we had to level up the floors to make everything work at all the adjoining surfaces. Then we retiled the bathrooms and water fountains. We used Daltile, Mannington carpets, Roppe rubber base, Schönox XM 35 and SL.
Unique Installation Challenge Strategy
The challenge we faced was under a strict timeline. These areas are made for a million people to enter these doors a year. It had to be right with no room for failure. The doors were often open to the public, so it was a challenge to work around the public. The steps had to be laid out for the flow of the atrium traffic, and this was all done successfully.
Single Source Interior Contractor Award Strategy
Square it up to match up with the existing flooring. The existing floor was so unlevel we used a self-leveler to bring the floor up to the standard it was supposed to go. Over a million people come through this are over a year. As the pictures show, it turned out great.
