Project Strategy
Lafayette College, a tradition-rich liberal arts college located in historic Easton Pennsylvania, boasts a beautiful campus overlooking the Delaware River. The Williams Center provides 5,000 square feet of instructional space for their art department including a gallery exhibiting artists of national and international renown. So, with a clear need to keep the facilities up to date, the college decided to overhaul the main floor bathrooms. Working hand-in-hand with KCBA Architects and RKA Construction, their vision was brought to life in a way that represents the school in a stylish and sophisticated manner.
As one of RKA’s trusted flooring vendors, Bastians was able to provide a quality installation to complete this update in a timely fashion. To provide a refreshed and sophisticated look while remaining true to the Lafayette brand KCBA utilized Daltile and American Olean products, specifically the American Olean Color Story Wall tile in color Passion tying in the school’s colors. The pop of red was balanced with neutrals from the Emergent and Conrad tile lines.
