Project Strategy
Blaze Capital Partners, a rental housing investment firm headquartered in Charleston, SC, offers a full suite of investment services, ranging from research and acquisitions to development and asset management. In their new headquarters, located in the prominent development, Morrison Yard, the space offers breathtaking waterfront views of the Cooper River and Ravenel Jr. Bridge with endless amenities that promote a positive workplace environment.
With an abundance of natural light throughout the space, the design team focused on finishes that provided an upscale feel, while complimenting the views showcased in the nine-foot floor-to-ceiling windows. This project started out like many, design process, bid documents, procurement, and then in true 2022 fashion...material delays. The General Contractor reached out and asked us to provide material options that would keep the design intent, stay within budget & keep the project on schedule. Our team partnered with J+J Flooring to do just that and we were able to deliver a beautifully designed project, on time and within budget. J+J Flooring style Obsidian carpet tile offers a balance of geometry and texture that complement the other design features throughout open areas, while style Tweed offers a classic, fresh backdrop in office spaces. Polished concrete walkways add to the contemporary design of the office making for an inviting environment for Blaze Capital Partners' clients and employees.
