Families are involved and looking for modern, comfortable, dignified facilities that offer a range of care services to support their loved ones as they transition into this life phase.
Meadowview of Johnston is a beautiful, five-star design senior living community that exemplifies this growing niche. The complex provides a variety of services which enable independent Living, assisted living and memory care residents to thrive in a contemporary home-like atmosphere. Meadowview offers the best of both worlds where seniors can maintain safety & privacy while staying connected family, friends and community. The apartments are gorgeous with upgraded appliances and finishes, while the public spaces offer welcoming areas for residents to socialize with family & friends – including outdoor patios complete with comfortable furnishings and fire tables.
Throughout the construction process, the project team experienced a number of challenges. First of all, the site is located within a residential community which hindered large truck deliveries often minimized normal traffic patterns. Tight parking allotments created an additional struggle to get materials in and up to where they needed to go. Before the roof was on and the building envelope was closed, weeks of uncontrollable rain halted progress and extended concrete curing times. Crews were pushed to work longer hours within a tight window to make up for lost time. Landscaping crews struggled to complete the outdoor plantings before the ground froze and winter weather set in.
