Project Strategy
Another high-quality installation wrapped up. Hoem & Associates has worked directly with this client for over 30 years. Our strategy for this client is to continue replacing flooring for a very large campus to create a consistent look/feel throughout their 22 buildings. For this project, Hoem & Associates installed over 10,000 SY of Milliken carpet, over 2,000 SF of Milliken LVT, and 18,000 LF of Mannington Rubber Base throughout two of our client's buildings.

Single Source Interior Contractor Award Strategy
Hoem & Associates has worked directly with this East Bay company for over 30 years. In an effort to cut some costs, the East Bay Company went through some organizational changes. They offered early retirement packages to most of Hoem & Associates long-term contacts. In addition, they made changes to their long-term GC and their Chief Architect. This change included outsourcing all of their facilities and construction to a 3rd Party, and as a result, the 3rd Party decided to cancel all of their global contracts with all of their vendors. The new teams were not interested in keeping the same vendors just because they had been used for a long time. They felt it was time to modernize and start adding some additional vendors into the mix. Hoem & Associates was forced to start from scratch on a huge account they’d had for over 30 years.
Hoem & Associates started reintroducing themselves, their companies, and their values to the new GC, the 3rd Party handling facilities and construction and to the new End User teams. Hoem & Associates was able to work on a few smaller jobs for this End User to prove what quality work our company performs. Because of the success of the smaller jobs, we were awarded this large project. We worked directly with Milliken, another long-term company standard for this client, to use the best products they could offer to satisfy this new team’s vision.
