Project Strategy
Hungryroot selected a new building in East Indianapolis where there is a need for food. There will be a lot of foot traffic and they need durability along with resistance. We used J+J Flooring, Incognito style to provide for their needs. The color Operative matches the design of the walls and brings balance to the space. The textured pattern creates movement and energy for the busy day-to-day work. The fibers are from pre-consumer recycled material. This sturdiness and longevity help build confidence in the space. In addition, we used a Madras style. It has a loop pattern that boosts the variation in texture. It uses an Encore® SD Ultima® fiber that is also recycled. Plus it has a Nexus® backing that provides a comforting cushion. This longevity holds sustainability for the offices and common spaces. The versatility of the carpet provides them with options for the growing staff. It gives back the balance that they too are giving to the community.
