Project Strategy
We want to make sure what we install works for an array of activities at Lowell Elementary. They also want the flooring to look cohesive with their school colors. We collaborated with Tarkett to find an LVT that used printed colors. We found a wood look that we incorporated the green school color into the wood grain. The wood look gives a natural ambiance. Using these nature-like colors to embrace the theme of their collaborative workstations. As students are working they now have a sense of an outdoor environment. Promoting creative energy. The LVT grain is installed linearly to create forward movement through the hallways. This connects to other collaborative spaces such as the auditorium and cafeteria. Where the same flooring is installed. They are able to focus and dive into their purpose through this design. It is important to help the school system and our community from the floor up.
