Project Strategy
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church has been an integral part of the Flintville, Tennessee community for almost a century. When it came time to build a new facility for their congregation, it was important that the facility provided room to grow with timeless finishes. Stained glass windows and handcrafted millwork are the highlights of the sanctuary, therefore it was important that the carpet selection did not compete with either of these design elements. Mannington Transmit carpet tile provided the subtle pattern and neutral background that was essential to accentuating these design features, while providing a durable solution for the large congregation. Being a multiuse facility the finishes needed to hold up to all types of conditions, from wedding receptions to kids playing basketball in the fellowship hall, all while being easy to maintain. The use of Mannington Spacia LVT helped to simplify the maintenance within the facility by eliminating the need to strip and wax floors, allowing for members of the congregation to complete weekly housekeeping, and reducing long term maintenance costs.
