111 Wall Street -1 Billion planned Redevelopment renovation of office building space in the heart of Wall Streets Financial District, with great views of Brooklyn across the East River.
The owner wanted to use the 15th floor as a temporary leasing office for the building during the renovation, and after for sales (Lease) of the impressive office space for corporate clients. So the challenge was to perform a visual pleasing leasing floor setting, leaving floor in natural core and shell white box for quick turn over later. Every thing from carpet tile, to vinyl tile and plank, to polished concrete was considered, sampled, and budgeted. Working with the CM, Hunter Roberts, and The owner Nightingale Properties, ReSource partnered with Ardex to provide a pleasing low cost alternate to polished concrete. Value priced Ardex V1200 was poured at 3/8" average depth using AMP pump technology for production pouring. The floor was then finished with 3 coats of Ardex PC60 High Gloss Sealer. The project came out beautiful with a poured in place Polished Concrete look, at a value price for this high end temp leasing office space. Re:Source also used Ecore Eco Silence rubber underlayment and grey Gerflor Saga 2 tile to infill data raceways to achieve a harmonious, level, and safe floor throughout. Tarkett rubber wall base was used to accent the painted core and shell accent walls and columns.
