Project Strategy
Being a long-time partner with the University of North Georgia, DCO was proud to help in the design of the flooring finishes when they decided to take over and renovate the decades-old buildings of Lanier Technical College’s former campus. Working with Carroll Daniel Construction, we completely gutted and replaced the flooring in four different buildings. Moisture, floor prep, and leveling problems throughout these old buildings made the project quite difficult, not to mention working around all the different trades required to get these buildings ready for the upcoming semester. The end result gave the university four “like new” buildings to be able to expand their degree offerings to the community.
